We carry fewer pieces than we could. We choose fewer stones than are offered to us. We say no far more often than yes.
Blaise Huxley exists in opposition to the idea that value grows with volume — that a thing matters more the more people own one. We believe the opposite. A piece of jewellery becomes meaningful through its particularity.
Restraint over excess.
The pieces that endure are the ones that ask nothing of the wearer — that simply belong. We are drawn to removal: nothing remains that isn't essential.
Material honesty.
We work in solid 18-karat gold — yellow, white and rose — because it is the right material. Not the cheapest. Not the dearest. The right one. Every piece is chosen one at a time, for itself.
Permanence over novelty.
We do not run seasonal collections. When a new piece arrives, it is because it needed to exist — not because a calendar asked for it.
